Time Period: Shortly after 'Sailor Moon S'- series
History:
Haruka Tenoh started life as any normal young girl would. While her family history is rather basic, she does come from a well-to-do family which allows her to indulge in one of her favorite past times: Race car driving. Though Haruka was disciplined to act like a proper young lady, she finds herself much more comfortable playing a masculine role. She often wears mens clothing and a boy's uniform when attending her classes.
It was not until her later school years that she was introduced to Michiru Kaioh through a mutual friend. Even though she felt a strong connection to Michiru, she dismissed these feelings and even denied Michiru's romantic interests. It was not until Haruka was saved by Michiru from an attacking demon that she discovered that she was Sailor Uranus. Haruka was infact the reincarnated spirit of Princess Uranus, on of the protectors of the solar system and close friends with Sailor Moon and the other inner Sailor Warriors.
As Haruka and Michiru learned and developed their powers, they became not only close friends, but romantic partners. While Haruka tends to be a flirt with other girls she is faithful to Michiru and will never leave her side.
Upon first confronting Sailor Moon and the other Inner Sailors there was definite friction due to the goals that Haruka, Michiru, and the other outer sailors were charged to complete. They were able to come together in the end and solve their differences in order to become a powerful fighting force against Mistress Nine who threatened the galaxy.
Haruka was still not convienced that Usagi was the true Sailor Moon and challenged her to a duel. After being defeated though Haruka finally admitted that Usagi was the Moon Princess and left with Michiru now that they believed their mission was complete.
